Who Is Elsa?<\/h5>

Elsa sustained injuries following a motorbike accident aged 18 and was left with physical limitations. Once she started Yoga she realised the powerful benefits were deeper reaching than simply the physical. She had a thirst to know more and to teach so that others could experience whatever benefits they required to receive from practice.<\/p>

The British Wheel of Yoga Diploma as a teacher was gained in 1991. Elsa did further study in Yoga Therapy and obtained the Yoga Biomedical Trust Diploma in 1995.
\nConcurrently Elsa trained with the European Shiatsu School as a Shiatsu Practitioner and gained her Diploma in Sept 1996 and passed the Shiatsu Society UK exams in Nov 1996 meaning she is now a Fellow of the Shiatsu Society.<\/p>

All these professional training courses meant Elsa studied anatomy, physiology and pathology alongside the arts of Yoga and how to teach it and Traditional Chinese Medicine and how to apply it to the art of Shiatsu practice. Elsa\u2019s \u2018day job\u2019, for many years, was as a Pharmacy Technician, first of all training with Boots the Chemist and then working within the BMI group of private hospitals.<\/p><\/div>

The Diploma of Higher Education Complementary Therapies (Aromatherapy) Diploma gained in 1999 with the University of Greenwich gives Elsa a grounding in the use of Aromatherapy and massage.
\nThe combination of her love for energy work and horses (from childhood) culminated in Elsa training with the School of Equine Shiatsu and gaining her Diploma in 2008. She achieved her Equine Behaviour Certificate in 2015 and went on to obtain the HEART Certificate in 2018 as an Equine Assisted Facilitator. Elsa gained her Long White Cloud Qigong Instructor Certificate in September 2025, qualifying her to teach Small Universe Qigong.<\/p>

Elsa is passionate about people giving themselves the opportunity to explore their innate being, to guide and support them in time and space for self-discovery and understanding. Energy work brings cohesion and flow, enabling relaxation for balance of the internal environment to be restored and come to support health and well-being. Elsa has done many other courses and workshops over the years and, therefore, has a wealth of personal experience and knowledge that she is keen to share. These include non-examined courses in Yoga, Shiatsu, and Tai Chi. She believes that everyone wants to feel happy and free. An important part of happiness and freedom is good health and a feeling of well-being. Acceptance and relaxation towards ones situation and, or, condition is a fundamental step towards taking the responsibility for ones own health and creating the best possible internal environment, encompassing physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of one\u2019s being, for one\u2019s innate healing abilities to be actioned.<\/p>

They soon learn to enjoy the feeling of positive benefits that exceed their first requirement and are encouraged to continue with their chosen activity in order to maintain their level of health and prevent recurrences of discomfort.\u201d<\/span><\/p><\/div> <\/div>
